  • Business goal alignment
  • Document and align on requirements for integrations and dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Create process maps (current and future states) for areas of technology or business units to identify opportunities for optimization or automation, including:

  • System and data flows
  • Build collaborative partnerships with vendors, mid-management stakeholders, delivery teams, and senior PMO members to achieve project goals.
  • Provide Change Management support by creating user manuals, guides, or standard operating procedures for training purposes.
  • Serve as a "Voice of the Customer" during implementation phases to uphold requirements integrity, supporting development, testing, and release efforts.
  • Collect and analyze project data/results to support key metrics and value management.
  • Contribute to business case development by documenting sub-investments and providing tactical input for process improvements within the Business Analysis framework.
  • Support project post-implementation through hypercare/warranty periods, lessons learned, and closure activities.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in applying vertical or horizontal approaches to requirements management based on delivery methodology (waterfall, agile, or hybrid).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: 3+ years of Business Analysis experience required, preferably within the retail sector, supporting areas such as:

  • Infrastructure (database, network, security)
  • E-commerce platforms
  • Customer service
  • Warehouse management
  • Marketing technology
  • Order management
  • Point of sale (POS) systems
  • Content management
  • Proficiency in requirements management, process modeling, and documentation techniques (e.g., use cases, scenarios, user stories, business rules, context diagrams).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new challenges.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, including external vendors.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and align partners at all levels.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio, Microsoft 365, and ServiceNow SPM module is a plus.
  • Certifications (e.g., IIBA CCBA, CSM/PSM, BPM) are a bonus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

What to Expect in This Role:

A typical day involves:

  • Defining project scope and managing end-to-end requirements.
  • Mapping current and future state business and system processes.
  • Creating and managing centralized documentation for scope, requirements, and process design.
