Certification Details BLS ACLS TNCC PALS Job Details The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient ratios, and other unique details to assist recruiting professionals in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Job Requirements Must have no less than 2 years of current ED experience Must pass EKG exam Schedule Information Target Start Date: ASAP Shift times: 7 p - 7:30 a Weekends: Every other weekend Call Requirements: no call Unit Specific Information Patient Ratios – 4:1 occasional 5:1 when critical comes in to trauma room Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 charge nurse, 9 nurses, 3 PCT (CNA), 2 sitters; Night Shift - 1 charge nurse, 9 nurses, 3 PCT (CNA), 2 sitters Typical procedures performed on unit(s): Chest tubes, Central line/Art Line placement, Sedation, Rapid infusion, Wound care, Target temp management, EKG Additional Details Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc.
