A COO is needed to join the senior leadership team at a growing manufacturing company in Buffalo, NY. The COO will drive operational excellence, oversee daily operations, and lead production and quality initiatives while reporting directly to the CEO. Description Oversee all operational functions, including production, quality, engineering, and supply chain management. Create and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, cut costs, and maximize production capacity. Drive a culture of change management, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies. Lead teams in machine shops, assembly, and testing areas to maintain high performance and quality standards. Manage inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels and streamline supply chain operations. Promote Lean Manufacturing principles to boost productivity, minimize waste, and enhance overall processes. Work with the leadership team to define and execute long-term operational objectives. Provide strong leadership and guidance to department managers and staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
