Description
Our Tech Valley Sleep Center is looking for a registered and licensed Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist. This is a full-time opportunity 7:30PM to 7:00AM (3 nights a week). This position will perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general oversight of the Medical/Technical Director.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:
• Gather and analyze patient information.
• Follow all testing preparation procedures including but not limited to: prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes and sensors, perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP mask fitting).
• Follow all polysomnographic procedural protocols.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Assist with all polysomnographic record scoring.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and standards regarding safety and infection control issues.

Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and a high degree of integrity with HIPAA guidelines and patient matters.
DME-Cpap equipment set-ups. Instruct patient on Cpap set-up/use and maintenance.
Complete all paperwork necessary for billing.

Hourly salary range: $22.74-$34.11

Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a polysomnography program, of no less than one year duration, associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or Authorization Certificate for Polysomnographic Technologists from the State of New York.
• RPSGT is required.
• Certified basic CPR/BCLS.
• Certifications must be kept up to date.
• Active BLS certification.
