*Overview*
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, including hospitals and clinics. This role requires a commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care and be knowledgeable in health coaching, triage, and discharge planning.

*Duties*
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Conduct physical examinations and monitor patient vital signs.
* Assist with tube feeding and pain management for patients as needed.
* Provide health coaching to patients and their families to promote wellness.
* Participate in triage processes to assess patient needs effectively.
* Engage in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients leaving the facility.
* Provide infant care when necessary, ensuring the safety and comfort of newborns.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

*Requirements*
* Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
* Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
* Knowledge of ophthalmology practices is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
* Ability to perform physical examinations and assess patient conditions accurately.
* Familiarity with pain management techniques and strategies.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to safety protocols.
* Must be able to pass background checks as required by healthcare regulations.

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
