The Plus Group, Inc. is looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work in the education field at their client's school site in West Sacramento!

The job of a Licensed Vocational Nurse works under the direction of the school nurse. Providing basic nursing techniques and direct patient care for students in need.

*Responsibilities*:

Respond to student(s) with seizures or other medical conditions needing monitoring. Document seizure or other conditions per protocols or interventions. Keep a complete record

May need to accompany special education student (s) on the bus before and after school to ensure medical safety

Perform special feeding and positioning techniques as prescribed. Administer prescribed medication to student(s)under the direction of the school nurse.

Perform related duties as assigned.

*Experience: *Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.

*Education: *Must have obtained a California Licensed Vocational Nursing License.

*Required Testing: Certificates and Licenses*

CPR/First Aid Certificate

Licensed Vocational Nursing Certificate (LVN)

Maintains Certificates and/or Licenses Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance Tuberculosis Clearance

Pay: $24.00 - $32.07 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 37 per week
