Job Details
• MedSurg - Level 8 position at Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, West Virginia.
• Common diagnoses include Pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, Alcohol withdrawal, falls/weakness.
• Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:5-7 on days, 1:6-8 on nights.
• Experience required: Must have 1 year of experience.

Job Requirements
• BLS certification required.
• RN License required.
• Can take PCT class to become PCT, or can have CNA.

Schedule Information
• Shifts: RNs 7-7, CNAs 6-6.
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling; schedule made by manager.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• Holiday Requirement: May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation.

Unit Specific Information
• Common titratable &/or set rate drips: heparin, bumex, lasix.
