JOB SUMMARY:

Provides assistance with managing events for all daily, evening, and weekend activities in accordance with park policy. The location of this position is the Pecan Grove Gym.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists with monitoring daily, evening and weekend crowd attendance at park facilities.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the facilities, the community outside restrooms, and gates at the park on evenings and weekends.
  • Daily set up and breakdown of sports equipment with the ability to lift 50 pounds. Frequent walking, balancing, crouching or crawling.
  • Diligent in providing customer service.
  • Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • One year job related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with others.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to complete assigned tasks within tight deadlines and to prioritize own and others work.
  • The location is the Pecan Grove Gym.

SALARY RANGE: Part-Time $15.00 per hour/up to 29 hours per week ** Required to work 7 days a week. Must be flexible on weekends.
