Hospitalist opening near Raleigh, NC- Located in Oxford, NC- Full Time; Permanent- EmployedRole: - Provide direct in-patient care to adult patients.- Responsible for providing episodic and chronic care, as well as screening and educational assistance to patients.- Provide quality care to patients by following the most current evidence-based guidelines and procedures of practice.- Adhere to all institutional policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and quality of care.- Take part in quality assurance audits, including continuing education, and peer review.- Participate in continuing education and training to keep abreast of current developments in the industry.- Recognize the diversity of the patient population and treat all warmly and kindly.- Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.- Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding.- Sufficient clinical knowledge and experience to provide clinical competence and meet institutional standards of care.- Interpersonal skills to deal harmoniously with staff, patients, and family members.- Demonstrated ability to meet the responsibilities of the position.MD Qualifications:- Current and valid North Carolina physician licensure.- Completion of an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.- BC/BE in specialty- The successful candidate will be approachable, flexible and organized.
