Provider's Role with the Company: Hematologist/Oncologist
  • Location: Knoxville, TN
  • Comprehensive patient support programs, including disease-specific nurse navigators, genetic counseling, clinical research, cancer outreach services, regional housing for patients, and nutrition and social services.
  • 4 day work week
  • Disease-focused tumor boards and multidisciplinary clinics.
  • Backed by a referral network of over 300 employed providers.
  • Hospitalists handle patient admissions regularly.
  • Oncology pharmacists who are residency-trained and board-certified.
  • Accredited by the ACOS Commission on Cancer.
  • Assess, maintain, and improve the health status of individuals in the communities served through timely access to evidence-based acute, preventive, and chronic disease care.
  • Serves as a role model of professionalism to all members of the interdisciplinary health care team. Collaborates with all other practitioners and clinical support staff to form a high performing team.
  • Provides high-value care; demonstrates good stewardship of resources by limiting unnecessary testing and referrals; and considers risks, benefits, and patient preferences when making diagnostic or therapeutic intervention decisions.
  • Documents all patient care activities and services provided in the electronic health record. Documentation must be clear, concise, accurate, updated, and in sufficient detail to allow another provider to continue the patient's care as well as to allow other parties to review the safety and quality of care provided.
