The Construction Assistant Project Manager works with the senior project manager and project managers on Commercial projects leading different aspects of the construction build process. Description The Assistant Project Manager for Commercial Construction duties include: Assisting one or more Project Managers with project related duties Looking after in the preparation of RFP/bid packages and other project compliance Participating in and attending staff meetings Completing RFIs, submittals, and managing change orders Overseeing 3-4 projects at a given time Profile The Successful Applicant Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management 2 years of experience in Commercial Construction as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager Working knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
