We are looking for two Diesel Mechanics to join our team! 

Alma MI - You will work with a team of mechanics, responsible for repairing approximately 55 semi trucks/tractor trailers.

This position is M-F 6am-3pm and every other weekend 6am-3pm. (2 regular scheduled days off around this schedule weekly making for a 5 day work week)*

Cass City MI - Responsible for repairing approximately 12 semi trucks/tractor trailers

This position is M-F 8:30am-5:30pm*

*Any hours extending beyond a 9 hr day is at time and half pay.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine services/maintenance to semi trucks and 8 axle trailers
  
• Use diagnostic tools/software to test components
  
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a diesel mechanic
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  
• Deadline and detail-oriented
  
• Must know airbrake systems and suspensions
  
• Electrical diagnosis
  
• Drum/disc brakes
  
• Ability to drive a semi-truck in and out of bay doors
  
• Ability to use computer programming and diagnostic tools

Requirements:

• Experience is a must (certification will increase wage)
• Trouble shoot engines and emissions
• Understand airbrake systems 
• Be able to fix rear ends and transmissions
