What you will do:
Responsible to for on time domestic shipping to Louisville, Kentucky plant and receiving from suppliers for all PBU's, maintain receiving shipping/receiving logs, direct material handlers.
How you will do it:
Receive and verify materials according to packings slips for assigned BMS business units in SAP
Generate receiving documents, properly document shortages/overages, and communicate to the discrepancy team of any discrepancies/damages.
Stage material for material handlers to put away.
Update daily material request with picking and delivery information (production/plants)
Prepare or perform all bin-to-bin transactions in SAP.
Understand and perform audits and cycle counts as requested.
Update and record quantities shipped by part number shipped/received/supplied to production area and plants.
Internal and External Customers:
BMS plants are located in Louisville, Kentucky, and will work with Purchasing, Finance, Warehouse and Distribution Centers.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
What we look for:
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Degree or GED preferred
Experience: If candidate does not meet the preferred education, he/she needs two years' experience within the cycle count, inventory management, and or shipping/receiving environment
Certifications: High School diploma, GED, or APICS certification preferred but not required.
Skills: Excellent communication skills and inter-personnel relations.
Systems: SAP, experience preferred.
