Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Operations Associate is responsible for the accurate, timely and safe handling of incoming and outgoing stock and operates industrial lift trucks to collect and place specific material into designated locations, while ensuring efficient store productivity by providing day- to-day implementation of operating standards.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive, place and load incoming/outgoing stock which requires lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance on an intermittent basis for up to eight hours per day. Ability to team lift items 51 to 99 pounds through course of the day. Certified to operate industrial lift trucks. Read itemized lists of materials and locate, collect and place specific material into a designated location. Able to use RF scanning devices for scanning of storage and retrieval transactions. Verify receiving/shipping documents and accurate product counts. Operate packaging and material movement equipment as needed. Effectively communicate verbally and written with all business partners.Create and maintain informational records, reports and filing systems. Reaching and working above and below the shoulder level on an intermittent basis for up to twelve hours per day.Ability to safely team lift, lower, and move items over 75 pounds over the course of a workday with or without assistance.Sit or stand continuously for up to twelve hours per day.Must be comfortable working with and around forklifts, conveyer systems, scissor lifts, and hazardous machinery.Must be comfortable with performing many of the tasks listed above from a ladder up to fifteen feet in elevation above the floor surface observing safety controls.Must utilize proper safety controls at all times.Must be able to drive automobiles, forklifts and scissor lifts.SafetyMust be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.The anticipated rate for this position is $24.00 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience.
