  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

  • Facility: Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center
  • Hospital System: Novant Health Crisis Response
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years
  • Traveler Experience: Required, Unit will not accept 1st Time Travelers
  • Skills: 1 year Med/Surg
  • Ratios: 1:6 flex based on needs in organization
  • Shift: 12hr NIGHTS
  • 36 hours ONLY
  • Float Requirement: Yes, traveler will work with the CNRO (Centralized Resource Nursing Pool)
  • Weekend Requirement: every other weekend
  • Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
    Job Requirements
  • Required Skills: BLS
  • Preferred Skills: ACLS, Telemetry
  • State License Requirements: North Carolina RN License
    Schedule Information
  • Scheduling Type: based on scheduling gaps
  • Unit Orientation: 24hrs (2 shifts)
  • RTO: 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit Systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
  • Patient Diagnoses: Floating between several medical, surgical, and telemetry units.
    Additional Details
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.
