    Job Details
  • Medsurg/Onc RN position at St Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center
  • Core staff to do chemotherapy
  • Common diagnoses include adults and geriatrics, strokes, hypertension, COPD, cellulitis, CHF, A fib non RVR, chest pain, MI after ICU, and surgical overflow.
    Job Requirements
  • BLS certification required
  • NIHSS certification required
  • Experience with trach and BiPAP preferred but not required
  • RNs required to titrate drips
  • Charge Nurse available on each shift
  • Nurse aids/patient care techs available on the unit
    Schedule Information
  • 0700-1930 and 1900-0730 shifts
  • Manager to make schedule
  • Weekend requirement: Every other
  • Holiday requirement: As needed
  • No call or standby requirement
  • 1-2 shifts of unit/department specific orientation
    Unit Specific Information
  • Floating to other MedSurg units required
  • No specific scrub color required
  • Will consider block scheduling if unit needs are met
