    Job Details
  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool.
  • The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact.
  • Travelers must be able to titrate drips!
  • There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert.
  • Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
  • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.
    Job Requirements
  • 2+ years of current tele experience
  • Active BLS certification
  • Active ACLS certification
  • Active AZ license or compact
  • Must be able to titrate cardiac drips
  • Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract (2 max attempts)
  • Pass/fail Sim lab on day one of orientation
    Schedule Information
  • 12 hr shifts, 7-7
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Floating is required between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses
  • Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start
  • Floating to different units mid-shift can happen
    Unit Specific Information
  • Tele B3A: 32 beds, Charge Nurse, 1:3-4 ratios, must interpret EKGs.
  • A3 Neuro: 28 beds, Charge Nurse, 1:3-4 ratios, must interpret EKGs, neuro post surgical patients.
  • MedSurg C5: 32 beds, Charge Nurse, 1:4 ratios, 80% Surgical, 20% Oncology.
  • MedSurg B2C: 29 beds, Charge Nurse, 1:4 ratios, General MedSurg patients that require tele.
    Additional Details
  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; Auto Offer off of Prescreen
  • MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE CARDIAC DRIPS!
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele.
  • No pediatrics, 15 y/o and older.
