Locum Urology Physician 120236: Northeastern, South Carolina Physician will be covering as a UroHospitalist Dates: Jan 15th, 20th,26th & Feb 3rd, 12th, 14th, 23rd & March 3rd, 17th, 24th, 31st & April 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th & May 5th, 12th Must have an active state license (medical, CSR, DEA) Qualifications: Board Certified - Urology 24- Hour Call Coverage included Duties: Rounding on In-Patients, performing procedures as needed, and responding to consults as called upon Volume: Census for unit usually grows to 20-25 over the weekend, with 15-20 consults each weekend also Standard urology procedures include: stone care, stents, caths, cystoscopes, torsions (pediatrics included), incidental appendectomy, adrenal surgery, hernia repair, endourology procedures, hand assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy, etc. Background: must be comfortable with trauma/open procedures - i.e. gun shot wounds that involves kidneys or testicles, stab wounds, bladder repair, etc. Level 1 trauma center (very busy and large facility) No APP support on weekends EMR: EPIC Never worry about your travel accommodations again!
