Job Description
  • Coverage Needed:
    • As soon as credentialed - ongoing
    • 5 days per week, as many weeks as possible
    • 8 or 10 Hour shifts
    • Call is negotiable
      • If call is approved, 12 or 24 shifts, post call day off
    • Cover 4 locations
  • Clinical Information:
    • Rotate to all sites, including OB
    • Provide anesthesia for all types of cases except for hearts and babies
    • 3:1 and sometimes 4:1 case ratio
    • Outpatient and inpatient
    • Supporting staff: CRNAs provided for all cases, Medically Directed
    • Volume: very busy, 70-80,000 cases per year
  • Required:
    • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
    • Current Flu Vaccine
    • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
      • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
    • Required Procedures: general, mac, regional and post op serve blocks (extremities and TAP blocks)
    • Must be board certified or board eligible
