Locums - Woodland, California, Gastroenterology OpeningClinical Role:

    • ASAP- as soon as credentialed - 6 months to a year
    • The assignment is to work 5 days a week in the clinic setting or out-patient setting performing GI related procedures such as colonoscopy and endoscopy.
    • Clinic & Procedures
    • No Call
    • Shift times: Weekdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
    • Frequency: Monday - Friday
    • Setting: Clinic
    • FTE: 1.0
    • # Providers Needed: 1
    • Duties: The clinician will provide consultative and follow-up care in the ambulatory clinic and be scheduled to perform procedures 2-3 days per week.
    • Required Procedures: Standard GI - colonoscopy and endoscopy
    • EMR: Cerner
    • Patients per Day: 16 to 20 in the clinic, 8-10 procedures per day in the out-patient center
    • Support Staff: assigned MA/procedure scheduler
    • Reason for Coverage: 1 of the 3 GI docs has tendered his resignation and we were already searching for 2 add'l permanent physicians. There is a significant backlog of diagnostic and screening procedures
    • Board Certified or truly Eligible
    • State License - California required
