Certification Details BLS CCHT (NNCC) Job Details 16-chair outpatient chronic dialysis unit Two shifts per day: First shift of patients starts at 0615 with changeover around 1000-1200, Last patients coming off around 1630-1700 Unit is open from Monday – Saturday and closed on Sunday Experience with hemodialysis is required Charge nurse available on the unit No floating required Job Requirements RN: BLS Tech: BLS & CCHT (NNCC) Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? More experience is preferred – will depend on interview/skillset Will you accept a first-time traveler? No Schedule Information Weekend rotation: Every other Saturday On call? No Call required Holiday Expectations: Closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas. We work all other holidays. Approval of time off? Manager approval required; (not participating in CIS) Shift times: 0515 – 1600, 0700 - 1730 Schedule cycle: Varies through the week, but every other Saturday Unit Specific Information Patient Types: Chronic ESRD outpatients Patient Ratios: RN: fully staffed 2 RN’s – could assist in tech capacity as needed, Tech: 1:4 Technology/Equipment: Paper charting, IV pumps: Alaris pumps, Medication dispensing: Pyxis Orientation: Will orient to the unit & our practice – should have knowledge of hemodialysis Additional Details Scrub Color: any color; must be professional Parking: Parking lot in the back of unit Teamwork is key, as this unit is small and everyone is expected to assist where needed
