Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support NIH Stroke Certification ASLS - Advanced Stroke Life Support CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute Job Details Registered Nurse position at UNC Health Wayne 3x12's or 4x12 shifts, PM, 7p-7a Every other weekend required Inpatient area requires report-in time within 1 hour of being called back Average 200 patients per day, works off a 4:1 ratio, 25/7 supervisor coverage Stabilizes trauma patients and transfers to Level 1 ED Must sign up for 1, 12-hr shift of on-call in a 6-week period All units may handle COVID patients No flu or TDAP exemptions or declinations accepted Job Requirements Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certification, ASLS Prefer TNCC and ENPC certification Strongly prefer CPI certification Required to have IV start skills Experience in conscious sedation and triage preferred Schedule Information Contract length: 13 weeks Shifts include 8, 10 & 12 hours Must include RTO in submittal at time of offer Unit Specific Information Unit may handle COVID patients Must float to like acuities or less if needed Additional Details Qualivis - I9 or Attestation Required Qualivis - Gov.
