Overview:
Sentry Safety and Physical Therapy Specialists is growing and hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for their Outpatient Orthopedics clinic in Roswell, New Mexico. This role offers a focus on manual therapy, with an opportunity for candidates to also engage in aquatic therapy and home health (Medicare Part A) if desired. Full-time availability of 40 hours per week is preferred, though candidates with 32+ hours will be considered.

Caseload / Patient Population:

• Full-time outpatient caseload or a combination of outpatient and aquatic therapy.
• Opportunity to add home health patients to your schedule if preferred.
• Patient age ranges from young athletes to geriatric patients.
• One-on-one patient care model with the entire care progression handled by the same clinician.
• Double booking is only done at the discretion of the therapist.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000, depending on experience.
• PTO and a 401k with a 4% company match.
• Commitment to continuing education.
• 24-week mentorship program for new therapists:

• First 8 weeks: mentor meetings twice a week.
• Following 16 weeks: meetings once a week.
• Mentorship includes one-on-one sessions and co-treating patients for skill development.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time position with clinic hours from Monday to Friday.
• Early start on Tuesday and Friday at 7 am.
• Short Fridays, with the clinic closing at 2 pm.
• No weekends, no holidays, providing a great work/life balance.
• Flexibility to create a schedule that works best for you.

Job Requirements:

• Eligible for New Mexico state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Prior experience or exposure in outpatient orthopedics required, but new grad PTAs will be considered.
• Full-time availability (minimum of 32 hours per week) is required.
