The Echocardiographer performs diagnostic echocardiography examines for subsequent evaluation and treatment in conjunction with the cardiologist. Administers contrast media to patients. Responsible for coverage in ultrasound sharing responsibilities with other ultrasonographers. Assures emotional mental and physical well-being of the patient. Able to deal with emergency situation in a calm and professional manner. The job will entail access to confidential information such as patient health information (PHI). Must demonstrate ethical behavior and respect for security and privacy.

Requirements:

40 hours per week - First Shift

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or CCI Specialized in Cardiovascular Anatomy

Completion of ultrasound training at approved ultrasound school

BLS/CPR certification
