*Pathologist Assistant*

A Magnet Status Hospital System in the Philadelphia area is currently seeking a qualified Pathologist Assistant.

This is a full time contract with the option to extend.

*Schedule:*
* Full Time, Monday – Friday
* 8:30am-5pm
* 13 week contract, with possible extension
* Start Date: ASAP

*Local Pay: *$65-70/hour

*Travel Pay:* $3,113/week

*Job Description: *
* Verifies specimen identity and perform examination of surgical specimens
* Perform data entry of specimens
* Maintain supplies and instruments
* Ability to work closely with a team

*Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related field required
* Masters of Science Degree from an accredited Pathologist Assistant Program preferred
* 2+ years of experience in Surgical Pathology
* ASCP - American Society for Clinical Pathology
