SUPERVISOR OF AUDIOLOGY

MONDAY-FRIDAY, 8AM-430PM

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audiologist to take on a leadership role within our dynamic healthcare team. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to apply their expertise in audiology and step into a leadership position. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated professionals while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

As a leader in the audiology department, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities designed to ensure the highest level of patient care and team productivity.

  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative audiological services to patients of all ages
  • Conduct hearing evaluations and counsel patients and their families on hearing loss and potential treatments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor audiology programs and initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of audiology professionals
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in the field of audiology
  • Ensure compliance with ASHA and CMS guidelines and regulations
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery

Qualifications:

To be successful in this leadership role, you will need a combination of education, experience, and skills that include:

  • Master's Degree or higher in Audiology
  • Georgia state license in audiology or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in audiology, hospital based experience strongly preferred
  • Previous leadership experience preferred - lead, supervisor, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of ASHA and CMS guidelines and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
  • Commitment to providing the highest standard of patient care
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
