We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CFO to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the financial actions of our company. The CFO will play a vital role in influencing company decisions, managing financial planning, and driving the company's financial strategy. This role requires a high level of financial expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
• Develop, implement, and enforce the organization's policies and procedures through systems that will improve the corporation's overall operation and effectiveness.
• Oversee the financial systems implementations and upgrades.
• Establish credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
• Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
• Manage the relationships with investors and investment institutions.
• Identify and manage business risks and insurance requirements.
• Manage or oversee the relationship with independent auditors.
• Oversee financial management of foreign operations to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures.
• Direct the financial planning, procurement, and investment of funds for the organization.
• Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating as a CFO.
• CPA and/or MBA highly desired
• Experience in investment analysis, evaluation, and internal rate of return.
• Experience working for a small to mid-size company.
• Strong decision-making, critical thinking, leadership, management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project manager who can best define the project objectives, strategize, and identify alternative approaches and select the best strategy.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Experience in permanent crops, specifically tree nuts is a big plus.
• Experience in underwriting new investments.
• Experience in real estate acquisition and development.
• Directing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Oversight of financial systems implementations and upgrades.
• Managing relationships with investors and investment institutions.
• Identifying and managing business risks and insurance requirements.
• Managing or overseeing the relationship with independent auditors.
• The ability to manage a team of 5-10 direct reports.
