Hiring: Accounting Manager

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Pay: $70,000-$80,000/year

Job Summary:

A dynamic organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee general accounting practices, budgeting, and financial controls. Reporting to the interim Finance Director, this role is crucial to the company’s financial success and will manage high-volume corporate client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee A/P, A/R, payroll, taxes, and general ledger functions.
• Manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end closings.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and forecasts (1, 3, and 5 years).
• Conduct cash flow forecasting and financial analysis.
• Lead external audits and ensure compliance with financial controls.
• Supervise accounting staff and manage multi-site accounting allocations.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and recommend procedural improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years in a senior accounting role.
• Strong QuickBooks and Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
• Experience with accruals, reversals, and multi-site accounting.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with diplomacy.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
