We are looking for a Facilities Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team working at our confidential client’s site in Wayne, NJ . ( Schedule is every 9 business days covering 80 hours, with every other Friday off.)

Some of your responsibilities include the following:


Managing mid to high level scope projects, plan and coordinate facility renovations, layouts, assembly line relocations, lab builds, equipment updates, and utility support.


Ensures facilities compliance with OSHA, EPA, applicable codes (NEC, IBC, ADA) and local, state and federal codes.


Act as the lead on electrical system design, installation, and maintenance for electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, and communications.


Develop and manage the scope, budget, design and schedule of multiple plant rearrangement and production equipment installation projects, from cradle to grave.


Responsibilities include project planning, design, bidding work to general contractors, building/executing and closing out the project. Projects can range from $5,000 to over $2,000,000.


Evaluate, select, and coordinate activities of external consultants, contractors, and in-house specialties to develop and implement corporate facilities projects and program requirements.


Manage financial budgets and track costs as they are incurred throughout the project lifecycle. Provide accurate and timely cost and schedule tracking to all project stakeholders. Prepare spending forecasts, establish budgets, approve invoices, and manage change orders.



Essential Skills & Requirements


Bachelor's Degree (preferably in electrical) OR trade equivalent


2-4 years of project management experience OR related experience in facilities management/operations.


Working knowledge of building infrastructure and support systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and fire protection systems.

The compensation that we expect to pay for this position is commensurate with years of experience, professional licensure, project exposure, and education and may range from $110,000.00 - $135,000, plus paid mileage from home to office.
