Project Manager

Salary: $80,000–$90,000
Our client is seeking a results-driven and highly organized Project Manager to oversee various design, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality projects. The Project Manager will lead projects of moderate to high complexity, guiding them from concept to final implementation. This role involves managing and reporting project scope, status, escalations, cost, and timing to internal and external stakeholders.
This position is full-time, on-site at our manufacturing facility in Painesville, OH.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including project charters, plans, action trackers, punch lists, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned projects.
- Define project scope and objectives; develop work plans, schedules, estimates, budgets, metrics, resource plans, and status reports.
- Interpret project requirements, communicate resource needs to management, and manage implementation.
- Conduct project meetings, including daily huddles, Kaizen events, and process/quality/manufacturing improvement activities.
- Perform process mapping, project tracking, and analysis, providing regular progress reports for management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support root cause investigations, leadership report-outs, and metric/dashboard reporting.
- Partner with Sales and Engineering on design and production projects to enhance customer engagement.
- Manage customer/vendor integration tasks, track deliverables, and handle contract administration and invoicing.
- Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) process improvements from sales through production.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and monitor project costs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline is required.
- Certification: PMP Certification is required.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in program/project management related to sales, operations, or new product introduction.
- Experience in production, quality, process engineering, or product management is preferred.
- Strong background in mechanical or electrical product/design management is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in Lean Six Sigma initiatives, Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Pareto Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience with design, testing, and operations in electronics manufacturing.
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office, and SolidWorks.
- Experience with Visio, Tableau, Power BI, and Salesforce is a plus.
- Knowledge of stamping, molding, tooling, and assembly in the connector space is a plus.
