Job Purpose
Accountable for managing IT capital projects with scope, cost and schedule certainty in alignment with the defined stage gate process. This role provides direction to project team members and resolves or escalates issues that affect these projects. Provides management insight into the assigned projects and how the status of those projects affects business and operational goals. Project portfolio includes IT application software, custom development, infrastructure, and telecommunications projects.
Education, Experience and/or Certification
Minimum Education needed:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science or related work experience. Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum Experience needed:
- IT Project Manager: 5+ years’ experience managing projects and/or programs
- Experience delivering projects in a highly outsourced environment.
- Worked with and managed projects with many partnered internal points of contacts and external vendors
- Must have experience managing schedules in MS Project
- Experience with implementations and infrastructure upgrades
- Experience managing multiple projects at a time
