Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the team of power engineering firm in New York City. This individual will support overall delivery of mechanical retrofit projects across the NYC metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering with HVAC design experience and an overall understanding of building mechanical, electrical systems and a passion for sustainability. This individual will coordinate with clients and design teams, and perform quality control reviews to ensure contract requirements are met.

Must-Haves:

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in designing/managing MEP projects (ideally with mechanical retrofit projects) with the use of AutoCAD and other design tools
• Strong communication, technical, and management skills

Nice-To-Haves:

• NYS PE License Experience working in compliance with NYC and NYS building codes
• Experience supporting municipal and government agencies including but not limited to: DASNY, CUNY, MTA, OGS and other NYS agencies
• Revit

Compensation: 150,000

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
