Job Title: Mechanical MEP Design/Engineer

Locations: Boston MA (Hybrid role)

Duration: Fulltime

Job Description:

The Mechanical Engineer collaborates with MEPF engineers to design and implement mechanical systems for building projects.

Responsibilities include system design, drafting, coordination, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and sustainability goals

System Design/Drafting: Use Revit for 3D drafting, select equipment like fans, pumps, and air handling units, and develop drawing sets.

System Design/Calculations: Perform heating & cooling load calculations, pipe/duct pressure calculations, and psychrometric calculations

Design Coordination: Collaborate with MEPF engineers, clients, and contractors to ensure effective design solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering (or related field)

4+ years of experience

EIT certification or PE license is preferred

Strong communication skills

Team player, with a collaborative mindset

Motivated to develop professionally and produce high-quality work
