BILINGUAL (English/Spanish) Receptionist- WEST HOUSTON LOCATION
SHIFT/HOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY (9:30AM - 6:00PM)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate Professionalism at all times.
- Maintain Patient Confidentiality.
- Answer and direct telephone calls.
- Proficient with customer service skills.
- Greets patients, families, and vendors.
- Checks in patients and notifies therapists of arrival in a timely manner.
- Complete paperwork necessary for therapist performing admissions to new clients.
- Provide clients and others with accurate KDC information.
- Ensure proper patient electronic medical records maintenance.
- Track patient cancellation/no show rates weekly and complete documentation required to enforce policy (i.e. missed visit and no show letters).
- Ensures timely rescheduling and confirmation of scheduled appointments as needed in a timely manner.
- Contacting therapists to inform them of scheduling or changes in the schedule.
- Assist office manager and patient case coordinators obtaining plans of care.
- Maintains and ensures the organization and cleanliness of the waiting room.
- Performs other tasks designated by the office manager.
