We are seeking a dedicated locum provider for an exciting assignment in Peoria, IL. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team while enjoying the flexibility of a locum position.
Key Details:
- Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery
- Provider Type: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)
- Dates: ASAP - Ongoing
- Schedule: 6 shifts per month - 7:30a-4p on site coverage and call as needed.
- No in-house requirement during call shifts.
- Surgeries are more likely to occur in the late-night or early evening, with limited overnight emergencies.
- Average of one admission per call shift.
Responsibilities:
- Cardiovascular OR cases, including Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) for CABG.
- Independently perform vein harvest procedures upon arrival.
- 100% adult patient case mix.
- Collaborative team environment—no solo work required.
Requirements:
- Active Illinois medical license (IL), DEA, and CSR.
- ACLS certification.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR is a plus.
