Are you a dynamic and analytical asset manager with a passion for solving complex real estate debt challenges? We’re seeking a VP, Loan Workout & Asset Management to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at structuring and negotiating complex debt transactions, and is eager to make an impact in distressed debt resolution.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the oversight and resolution of a portfolio of specially serviced CMBS loans and other distressed debt assets.
  • Negotiate and structure complex debt instruments, managing transactions through legal documentation.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of loan positioning, collateral value, and restructuring options.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, receivers, appraisers, leasing teams, and other third-party consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with loan servicing agreements, REMIC regulations, foreclosure laws, and investor reporting requirements.
  • Present and recommend resolution strategies to executive leadership.
  • Prepare quarterly business plans, financial projections, and cash flow analyses.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proven expertise (7+ years) in managing distressed commercial real estate loans and executing successful workout strategies.
  • Deep understanding of real estate finance, debt structures, and investment strategies across various asset classes.
  • Hands-on experience with loan origination, servicing, and restructuring—particularly in CMBS, agency, and traditional lending environments.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to underwrite complex commercial real estate and development projects.
  • Technical proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with working knowledge of Argus and key CRE data platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
