Job Details Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on various labor and employment law matters.
2. Assist in the preparation and drafting of legal documents including contracts, agreements, and legal memorandums.
3. Participate in mediation and negotiation sessions, providing legal support and advice to the legal team.
4. Maintain and update case files, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
5. Liaise with clients, legal professionals, and court officials, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
6. Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court dates, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared.
7. Assist in the preparation of case strategies, providing insights and suggestions based on legal research and analysis.
8. Stay updated on changes and developments in labor and employment law, ensuring the legal team is informed and updated.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar role within the legal field.
2. Demonstrated experience in mediation and legal research.
3. A degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
4. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
7. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships.
9. Knowledge of labor and employment law, with a passion for the field.
10. Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
11. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
