Ready to join? We are seeking a full-time Appointment Coordinator (IME/WC) to be based at our corporate office near Oak Brook, IL. Candidate will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule. Training will be 8 weeks onsite at the corporate office.
Responsibilities

• The ability to really listen to customers to provide great service.
• Clear communication skills via phone and email.
• Thorough knowledge of the Midwest Orthopaedics policies and protocols.
• Strong time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to any changes and revisions presented.
• Excellent phone and data entry skills.
• Experience in communications with customer service professionals that includes insurance adjusters, attorneys-law firms, nurse case managers, etc... to obtain authorization for patients with work related injuries.
• Booking, coordinating and rescheduling patient appointments
• Answering telephone calls, screening calls, and maintaining current physician schedules. This position is very busy with a high volume of calls.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills are required.
• The successful candidate must be able to meet deadlines and assist other team members when necessary.
• Superior customer service skills are needed to excel in this position.

Ability to:

• Operate basic office equipment such as a computer, phone and fax machine.
• Multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Work and communicate with patients, physicians and staff in all levels of the organization.
• Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Experience in WC/IME is a plus.
