Common diagnoses/Types of patients COVID/Flu/respiratory illnesses, CP, SOB, HTN, weakness, ALOC, UTI/sepsis. Mental health holds is part of this pt population. SNF placements will be in cared for on this unit
Experience or 'Must have' skills MSTele or step-down exp
Are RNs required to titrate drips? No
Common titratable &/or set rate drips No titratable drips
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor No
Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios ED techs at times
RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) No vents for non-ED RNs
Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Yes, tele on the unit. RNs need to be able to read strips
