Job Summary: We are partnering with a School District near Hermiston, OR seeking a 100% in-person school experienced Occupational Therapist for the 2025-2026 school year starting Mid-August. The role is 40 hours per week providing Occupational Therapy services to school aged students ranging from K 12th Grade.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support and interventions for students to engage in school activities and achieve independence within the school setting
- Assesses a student’s fine and gross motor skills, visual perception, attention to task, and sensory processing
- Gives advice and provides support for family members and carers
- Assesses the home, school and work environments of the student
- Installs the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaches them how to use the equipment
License and Education Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Clinical Field Work Hour Requirements completed
- NBCOT exam passed
- Occupational Therapist (OT) License Issued by Oregon Board of Examiners prior to start of school year
