A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs cardiac, general, and special nuclear medicine procedures in a teaching institution. Responsibilities include operating nuclear medicine scanners, obtaining diagnostic images, and administering isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals. Candidates must have appropriate certifications and state licensure, along with at least one year of nuclear medicine experience.

    Job Details
  • Position responsible for performing all Cardiac, General and Special Nuclear Medicine procedures in a comprehensive teaching institution.
  • Independently operate specialized Nuclear Medicine scanners to obtain quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Prepare, measure and administer diagnostic and therapeutic isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals.
    Job Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an AMA approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Currently registered or registry eligible and in good standing by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
  • Licensed by the state of Illinois’ emergency management agency
  • 1 year minimum experience in General Nuclear Medicine
