    Job Details
  • Labor & Delivery RN position at HCA Florida University Hospital
  • Unit Information: 9 labor beds, 3 triage beds, and 7 perinatal unit beds
  • Patient Ratios: labor and delivery 2:1, perinatal 4:1
  • Documentation System: Meditech, CPN
  • Call Requirements: 12 hour shifts/week and one call shift per month
  • Floating Requirements: float to perinatal unit and post-partum
  • Typical Procedures: vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, tubal ligations, cerclage removal
    Job Requirements
  • Must have: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN (intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring every 2 years or current NCC certification in EFM)
  • Must be able to labor, deliver and recover patients
  • Able to care for high-risk patients in the perinatal unit
  • Must be able to care for all facets of the pregnant patient throughout the pregnancy period up to and including delivery vaginal or operative
    Schedule Information
  • 12 hour shifts/week
  • One call shift per month
    Unit Specific Information
  • General Information: Labor & Delivery Unit
  • Type of Staff: one or 2 techs on each shift, secretary on day shift
  • Type of Equipment: Hill-Rom beds, Panda Warmers
