  • General job duties include patient care for telemetry unit, assessments, medication administration, basic EKG interpretation, dressing changes.
  • Primary patient population is medical cardiology, heart & lung surgery, and vascular surgery.
  • Providing nursing care for step-down critical care patients.
    Job Requirements
  • 2 years telemetry experience
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
    Schedule Information
  • No call required
  • Every other weekend
  • Varied shifts
    Unit Specific Information
  • Critical care cluster - MSICU, MSIMC, CICU
  • Floating to med-surg areas (MAP, OCU, PCU, or PSCU)

  • 2 years of RN Cardiac Tele experience?
  • EPIC experience?
  • Proficient treating cardiology, cardiac/thoracic surgery, and vascular surgery patients?
  • Proficient treating: Congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, MI, PTCA, pacemaker placement, unstable angina, pericarditis, post of cardiac surgery?
  • Are you aware that the BID form and Wisconsin Caregiver check must be uploaded within 48 hours after acceptance of offer?
  • Basic EKG interpretation skills?
