As an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician, I provide comprehensive care for patients during labor and delivery as well as manage ER and inpatient consults. My responsibilities include triaging labor patients, performing emergent procedures, and consulting with office nurse practitioners on urgent cases. I am board certified and licensed to practice in Virginia, ensuring high-quality medical care in a hospital setting.
- Work Dates Needed: Once credentialed ongoing
- Preferred Schedule: 24 hour call coverage
- Worksite Setting: Hospital / Call: Must be available by phone within 5 minutes of being called by hospital. If needed on-site, must present on-site within 15 minutes of phone call.
- Scope of Work: Average 11 patients per day. Cover ER consults, floor consults, L&D, deliveries, emergent procedures, etc. As well as available via phone for our two office NP's who have any emergent questions about a patient they may need to send over to hospital. Responsible for the following: Laboring patients, Inductions, Triage Labor Patients, ER consults, Floor consults, Trauma call, Following up on established OBGYN patients in the inpatient setting (Note: no OB Hospitalist program for back up)
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible, Current VA medical license, DEA
- EMR: eCW for outpatient, Meditech for inpatient (if not familiar with Meditech, be available in advance of their first coverage date for 1 hour onsite orientation)

- Credentialing: 45-60 days
