OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in Washington 24 Hour Call As Soon as Credentialed and Ongoing Assignment
Schedule Needed:
As soon as credentialed through December 31
24 hour call 7am-7am with 20 minute response time. Contact by cell phone. Clinic: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
7-8 call shifts/month, can be combined with clinic days
3 days of clinic per week, 3 weeks per month preferred
Job Requirements:
Board Certification required, truly Board Eligible accepted
State License required, IMLC considered (LOQ must be uploaded or submission will be rejected)
Malpractice clean file preferred
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA
Availability at time of name clear required: specific dates and black out dates required for presentation
Availability for orientation: required: specific dates required for presentation
Job Details:
Setting: Critical Access Hospital and Clinic
Duties: OB/GYN clinic care, OB and GYN call coverage through L&D Unit and ED.
Required Procedures: C-Section, Ectopic
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: MA or LPN in clinic. L&D RNs at hospital
Must be comfortable handling OB inductions from group, mostly emergent GYN surgeries.
25 bed critical access hospital with 3 L&D beds and 4 post partum beds. Level I Nursery, Level I Trauma only 36 weeks and above.
Typical Cases: OB: low risk/high risk, ultrasounds, amniocentesis. L&D: routine/complicated, VBACs, C-Sections. GYN: GYN Surgery
# patients/day in clinic: 18
Rounding required: only in post-op
Sole provider on call - will have colleagues in clinic
MFMs: Can refer out, not on site
In house anesthesia
Will do admits
Average worked callback hours: weekday - 3-4 hours, weekend - 1-2 hours; weekday less than 50% weekday, weekends and ER.
