Job Details
- Position / Specialty: MS/Tele RN
- Ratios: Normal Ratios for med/surg, Day and Eve 5:1, Nights 6 or 7:1.
- Stretch Ratios for Med/Surg Day/Eve 6:1 Nights 9-10:1
- PCT’s on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG’s and any sort of activity of daily living
- In-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws; nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines
- Years of experience REQ: 1
- First-timers accepted: Yes
- Weekend REQ: EOW
- Certs REQ: BLS, NIH
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Special Requirements: Tele required. Heparin Protocols required.
Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience required
- BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Certification required within 1 year of start date
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- No locals accepted (50 miles)
- Pending License not accepted
- RTO Restrictions: No more than 1 week RTO in a contract
- No holiday RTO
Schedule Information
- Float to MS, ICU, ED as needed
- Open to accommodating block schedule, but not guaranteed

- AHA only for certifications
- Orientation Modules due the Thursday prior to start at 2pm EST
- Modules take about 4-6 hours to complete
