We are seeking a motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the bustling kitchen of our high-volume restaurant. This role requires a dedicated professional who can manage both preparation and service with skill and efficiency. As a key member of our team, the Kitchen Manager will ensure our kitchen operations run smoothly and uphold our standard of excellence.
**Schedule**
- 4 days a week (Thursday to Sunday)
- Approximately 40 hours per week
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the kitchen team in high-pressure settings to ensure that food preparation and service are executed flawlessly.
- Develop and maintain accurate prep lists to ensure efficient operations for the following day.
- Embrace teamwork, working collaboratively with both kitchen staff and front-of-house to provide an exceptional dining experience.
- Communicate effectively with the team; proficiency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational skills, both in thought and practice, including the organization of kitchen space and processes.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, ensuring that the kitchen remains pristine and adheres to health and safety regulations at all times.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience in kitchen management, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Strong skills in food preparation and a thorough understanding of kitchen operations.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Effective communication skills; bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are preferred.
