The Role

We are looking for a talented Technical Writer to join our team and play a key role in shaping the way we communicate with our clients.
In this role, you will create and maintain templates for customer-facing documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legislation such as the Clean Buildings Act. You’ll work closely with technical and sales teams, review technical deliverables, and interact with clients to ensure quality and clarity in every project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update templates for deliverables, including Energy Management Plans, ASHRAE Energy Audits, and Operations and Maintenance Manuals.
- Draft and review technical reports to ensure accuracy and alignment with customer expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and timely project delivery.
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders through various channels.
- Learn about energy and renewable markets, emerging trends, and relevant legislation.
- Review building mechanical drawings to capture key technical details.
- Engage with clients through email, calls, and in-person meetings to clarify requirements and present deliverables.

The Person
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in technical writing.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in a relevant field of study.
- Ability to interpret building mechanical drawings.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new tools.
- A self-starter with a focus on meeting deadlines and improving processes.
