Project Manager - Full-Time Opportunity in Irvine, CA

8AM-5PM: Monday-Friday

Compensation : $60-$65 per hour (Based on Experience)

Location : Irvine, CA

Employment Type : Full-Time (Offered through Kelly Services)

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead impactful Research and Development projects in the healthcare industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong project management experience to work on groundbreaking cardiovascular technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage R&D product development projects from concept to market, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to define product specifications that align with customer needs.
  • Create and execute project plans, including short and long-term milestones, timelines, and budgets.
  • Track and monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Utilize project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) to track tasks, timelines, and resources.
  • Develop detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and leadership to ensure transparent communication.
  • Manage project risks, identify issues, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams and provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress.
  • Gather insights from medical professionals and coordinate product evaluations to drive project success.
  • Coordinate domestic travel (up to 10%) as required for project needs.


Key Qualifications:

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
  • Experience : 3–5 years of experience in project management, preferably within a product development or R&D environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, MS Project, Smartsheet).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with cross-functional, global teams is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically if needed.


Preferred Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of medical device regulations and external standards (ISO, FDA).
  • Experience with product lifecycle management software and tools.
  • Prior experience managing virtual or remote teams.
  • Experience in medical product development is highly preferred.
