Job Description

Position: Assistant Regional Director of HS/PRS

Location: Arlington, TX 76001

Salary: $80,000-$88,000

Schedule: Three different options:

  • 4 days (8 hrs each) on-site, 1 day remote ($88K)
  • 4 – 10 hour days on site (4 day work week) ($88k)
  • 3 days on-site (8 hrs each), 2 days remote ($80k)


On Call: Week long rotations, split amongst ARD’s and RD’s.


Must Haves:

  • Masters Degree in related field
  • 3 years of relevant, progressive experience
  • Experience conducting home studies
  • Experience in a leadership position, supervising, managing, or mentoring. (Can be filling in for manager, taking on additional responsibilities as a Sr. Case Manager that involved mentoring, supervising, etc.)
  • Experience working with immigrant populations
  • Need to have personal vehicle and valid Driver’s license


Plusses:

  • Bilingual with English and Spanish
  • ORR experience (Will use UC portal)
  • Experience reporting out to 3rd party, like CPS, Law enforcement, etc.


Day-To-Day:

Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Case Management, the Assistant Regional Director will oversee a team of Case Managers who assist youth and their families to receive the support they need to experience a safe transition out of ORR care and into their communities. The role of the Assistant Regional Director is to lead, train, and guide their team.

  • Coordinate a team that will provide evidence-based interventions and solution-focused work when working with families in the community.
  • Oversee and train program staff
  • Supervise the work of caseworkers within the region
  • Ensure staff comply with agency and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Assist staff in managing crises that may arise on their caseloads
  • Perform a variety of administrative or executive support tasks, such as trend/quarterly reports that are confidential
  • Conduct weekly audits to ensure all assessments, reports, and team case notes are current in the hardcopy file and electronic file
  • Ensure Case Managers meet all deadlines required by ORR, state licensing, and federal partners
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Assistant Vice President, the Vice President of HS/PRS, Senior and Executive leadership, or the Deputy for Federal Programs.
